Pasta lovers rejoice!
I am here to share this amazing recipe with you so you can start enjoying a “pasta” likemeal and still lose weight along the way.
When I cleaned out my cupboard, all the pasta went out too. It wasn’t allowing me to lose the weight I wanted to because the pasta I was eating was too processed. But that didn’t stop me from finding something that satisfied my need for pasta.
Luckily I found spaghetti squash. Now I can enjoy pasta-like meals as often as I want on my meal plan without worrying about it negatively affecting my weight loss. Plus, with this recipe, you might just be trying something you’ve never had before. So give this recipe a go, I promise you it’s going to have you asking for “pasta please” for dinner each week!
- 3 oz Ground Bison
- 1 Spaghetti Squash
- ¼ cup Organic, No Added Sugar Tomato Sauce
- Garlic Powder
- Black Pepper
- Himalayan Salt
- 1 tbsp Avocado Oil
In a skillet over medium-high heat, place your bison. Season with a dash of pepper, Himalayan salt, cayenne, and garlic powder. Mix and cook your bison until it reaches your desired temperature.
Chop your spaghetti squash into 4 circles and remove the middle of the squash. Lather your squash with avocado oil and season with Himalayan salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Cook your squash in the oven at 400º F for 45 minutes. Run a fork across the cooked flesh of the squash to create spaghetti-like strips. Scoop out 2 cups of the squash strips and top them with your bison and tomato sauce.

This is possibly one of my favorite recipes, but I can understand if you don’t like bison, aren’t ready for it, or simply cannot find it at your local grocery store. Don’t worry, there are plenty alternative meats you can easily substitute for bison. Just sign up for my email list and I will send you my Approved Foods List. This will show you what you can substitute it for and how easy it can be to swap out a variety of foods so you can always be sure you are eating for your health and your goals.
