“If You Want to Lose Weight, You NEED This…”

How many times have you heard someone say this? I heard it all the time when I was trying to lose weight, and I continue to hear it from people who are trying to sell stuff.

If you want to lose weight, you need to buy “this” weight loss pill…

If you want to lose weight, you need to buy “this” supplement…

If you want to lose weight, you need to use apple cider vinegar…

If you want to lose weight, you need to buy “this” miracle food…

As someone who promotes supplements, I am here to tell you that you don’t NEED any of this to lose weight.

Yes, supplements can help you on your journey and can be beneficial to your workout and nutrition, but you don’t need them.

You also don’t need any of the other “miracle pills” or “secret weapons” that people are trying to sell you. If you want to lose weight, all you need to do is eat healthy, move more and be in a calorie deficit. This is the true secret to losing weight.

Knowing how to eat is the key, and this is where I want to step in and help you. This is why I create Custom Meal Plans and why I created my Team Possible Membership program. These are tools meant to help you develop healthy habits in your life so you can lose weight and keep it off in a healthy manner. These are tools that are made to support you when things get tough.

Why People Turn to Promises of a Quick Fix

If you are trying to lose weight, and you have a lot of weight to lose, it can be tempting to purchase products that promise effortless weight loss. Losing weight isn’t easy, and it does take effort.

I know the struggles because I went through them. I hear so many companies trying to sell their products, promising that they have the one key, the one supplement, the one fix to your weight loss issues, and by using their product, the weight is just going to fall off.

But there is no one product that is just going to make the weight come off.

I hear fitness gurus talk all the time about the supplements, the BCAAs, the protein powders that need to have so that you can lose those 10 pounds you’re struggling to lose.

If you are like I was, I had a lot more than 10 pounds to lose, and if 10 pounds is considered difficult, 300 seemed impossible. To me, losing all that weight seemed impossible.

But I proved that I could do it. That it was possible. And I didn’t need the supplements. I didn’t’ need the weight loss pills, or to down apple cider vinegar every day.

I take supplements now, and I do promote supplements, but they are only supposed to do that… supplement. They help, but they are only 3% of the equation. Everything hangs on your ability to get into a calorie deficit, eat clean and move more.

And I know from experience that it wasn’t easy, and there were times that I struggled. There were times when I didn’t have the answer, and I thought I was eating right and exercising, and yet I hit a plateau. So, I know how tempting it is when someone tells you that they can melt the weight off easily with one product.

A Better Alternative

As I mentioned, I have created tools that focus on supporting you and helping you create healthy habits. I have guides and meal plans that help teach you what and how to eat. I try to motivate people through my Instagram.

I recently created a platform called Team Possible, where I provide daily workouts, a community of support, and healthy meals that you can create into a meal plan. I even give members a major discount on meal plans created by a nutritionist.

But do you NEED this? No. They are meant to support you while you put the work in to lose the weight.

These are not effortless solutions that will make the weight disappear in 30 days. These are support systems that are set in place to help you make the right choices, give you information, emotional support, and a structure that makes losing the weight sustainable and healthy.

Stuffed Bell Peppers and Ground Turkey


  • > 4 Bell Peppers, tops cut off and seeds cleaned out
  • > 1 cup Cooked Rice
  • > ½ lb Ground Turkey
  • > 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
  • > 1 cup Shredded Mozerella
  • > 1 tsp Garlic Powder


  • > Pre-heat your oven to 350º
  • > Place your pepper into the oven and cook for 25 minutes.
  • > Add your ground turkey and tomatoes to a saucepan and cook over medium-high heat. Sprinkle with garlic powder and stir occasionally. Sauté until the turkey is cooked through, or about 3 – 4 minutes.
  • > Divide your cooked rice into the four bell pepper cups, followed by the ground turkey. Top with mozzarella and place in the oven. Place the peppers back into the oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted.
